The 3mm neoprene fabric is printed from a white base so you can have any colour or design that will work on fabric.
The top and base are stitched and the base is a textured rubber that is glued in.

Each stubby holder ordered is custom printed with the design of your choosing, or if you don’t have a graphic or logo ready we can design one for you!
The colour of your stubby holders can be one of any number of colours! You can pick any shade or hue to suit your branding or logo, or we can suggest a colour to suit your custom design. We’ve provided a handy colour chart for inspiration below but do feel free to provide us with a specific CYMK colour code, if you have one. All colours are printed over white fabric so any hue, tint or shade should be able to be achieved.
Please note: colours often look very different on a LED/LCD screen than they do printed on fabric. Please ensure that you consider the colour in terms of the printed finished product rather than what the colour may look like on your computer or mobile screen.

The original version of what we now call a stubby holder was initially created in the United States during the 1980’s. It was made of polystyrene foam and soon soared in popularity as a method of keeping drinks cool at parties, BBQ’s and other events. In 1984, an innovation in the design of the stubby holder by the US company ‘Koozie’ saw the design incorporate the use of a textile named neoprene; a family of synthetic rubbers that maintain flexibility over a wide temperature range. This is the design still in use today!
A few years on, an Aussie named Shane Walsh brought the idea of the ‘Koozie’ to Australia, tailored to the local needs.
In Australia, the term ‘stubby holder’ was coined as the typical local beverage was traditionally sold in 375ml bottles nicknamed “stubbies” due to their squat appearance as compared to the packing of other brands imported from outside the country. Today, stubby holders can be found at any Aussie BBQ and are used for all kinds of drinks; from glass bottles to aluminium cans.
To date, stubby holders still hold their popularity around the world due to their simple, effective design keeping drinks everywhere cool and hands comfortable. But believe it or not, stubby holders have another incredible use!
